Amy Patricia CoffeyNEWPORT, RI, Amy Patricia Coffey, 40, of 27B Maplewood Road, Middletown, RI died Monday, September 19, 2005, at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI. Born in Newport, RI, on November 6, 1964, she was the daughter of Alice Rounds Coffey of Newport, and the late John Nicholson Coffey and step daughter of Maureen R. Sleeper Coffey of Middletown, RI. Ms. Coffey was a 1983 graduate of Rogers High School. She worked as a waitress for 10 years at the Newport Marriott. Amy enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, crocheting, and had a great love for animals. Besides her mother and step mother she is survived by her sisters and brother, Valerie Gonder of Chicago, IL, Andrea McCarthy of Portsmouth, RI, Maureen LaPierre of Middletown, RI, Gretchen Perham of Tiverton, RI, Christina McCabe of Portsmouth, RI, Terese Romano of Cumberland, RI, Matthew E. Grigas of Santa Barbara, CA, Catherine Williams of Summit, NJ, and Maryha Abosso of North Kingstown, RI. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2005, at 1:00PM in the Calvary United Methodist Church, 200 Turner Road, Middletown.Burial will be in Middletown Cemetery, corner of Turner and Wyatt Road, Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2005, from 4-8PM, in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, RI.
