"Dad, Words cannot express how much you were loved and will be missed. You were the best father anyone could ever wish or hope for. You had so many things you could have bragged about if you wanted to, but you never did. I know your spirit is still with us and take comfort that you are now with the angels in heaven. Love, Cathy"

"Dear Mr. Schneider, I remember you as being a very kind and intelligent man. Fred and Wayne and I would make a racket down in your basement every week and we were always greeted after wards with a "sounds good" and a "you're getting better guys" it was exactly the encouragement that we needed. Who knows if any of us would be playing music anymore if we hadn't received it. Thanks for being a great dad to my friend Fred. We will miss you. -William"

Masitah Schneider - August 14,.. wrote on Aug 10, 2006:

"Dear Dad, Thank you for accepting me in your family. I met you shortly after my own father passed away in 1999 and immediately I began to look up to you like my own Dad. You both had the same great qualities: kindness, intelligence, patience and a dry sense of humor. I also used to marvel at how you used to get all the questions right on Jeopardy even when you were ill. God Be With You, Your Daughter-In-Law, Masitah Schneider"

Fred Schneider - August 14, 20.. wrote on Aug 10, 2006:

"Dear Dad, you were the coolest, kindest and brightest. You could do anything. Thank you for telling me not to cower, settle for something beneath me, or live below my potential. Your expectations became mine. You set a high standard for me and my only regret is that I'm only thanking you now, here. Nobody, especially you, deserves the type of medical challanges that befell you but you handled them so bravely and matter-of-factly. The near-miraculous fight you put up in your final month is a testament to your personal strength and courage. I hope you are finally at peace now Dad. Love, Fred"
