"Aunt Barbara, Tommy, Kathy, Barbie and Chris, The kids and I just wanted to let you all know that you are in our thoughts. Uncle Tom will be missed by all. The many, many great memories of the times we spent - from Cranston Ave. to the Clarke's house could fill volumes. And of course you can't forget the sneezes. One even led Chris and I back to the garage party at Aunt Alice's after we took a few wrong turns in Middletown! Take solace in knowing he is now at peace and will surely be keeping watch over us all. Please let us know if you need anything - we are here for you. Love always, Lynnie, Sarah and Kyle III"
"Mr Clarke was a gentleman from the old school. Knowing him through business and frequently reminiscing with him makes it nice to have known him.My condolences to the family."
"What nice memories of Uncle Tom we have -- On Cranston Ave his happy whistling as he worked on house projects and in the yard. The clam boils and volleyball games at Renfew Park followed by a cigar and a game of cards or horseshoes. I still have the scar from one of his horseshoe back swings!!. His sneezing during allergy season and the "God Bless You's!" we yelled to him from downstairs. He wasn't afraid to touch the huge dill pickles in the jar at Marcucci's. Bringing that classic scotch plaid cooler and setting up the green striped umbrella at second beach OR setting up the lovely green olympic pool or sidewalk sprinkler for us when we didn't go to the beach! To Aunt Barbara, "Little Tommy", Kathy, Barbie and Chris - we will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. With Love and Sympathy, Debbie, Dan, Steven & Michael"
