Jacksonville, FL - Peter ?Butchie? M. Carlone, 50, of Jacksonville, FL, formerly of Portsmouth, RI, died Friday, July 27, 2007 at home. He was the husband of Marie Yvonne DuPont Carlone. Born in Fall River, MA on February 27, 1957, he was the son of Margaret ?Peg? Fernandes Carlone of Portsmouth, RI and the late Peter Carolone.Mr. Carlone had worked as the equipment manager at the St. Johns Country Club in Jacksonville, FL. He was a graduate of Rogers High School, Class of 1975. He was a member of the Gold Course Mechanics Association. Besides his wife and mother he is survived by his sons Peter Cory Carlone and James Vincent Carlone of Jacksonville, FL, his brother John D. Carlone of Long Island, NY, his sister Carol Carlone of Portsmouth, RI, his grandson Jamie Carlone of Jacksonville, FL, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. His funeral will be held on Friday, August 3, 2007, at 9:00 am from the Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth. Burial will be in St. Columbas Cemetery in Middletown.Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2007, from 4-8 pm in the funeral home. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Anthonys Church, 2836 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI, 02871, or to Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 6320 Bennett Road, Jacksonville, FL, 32216.
