"Dear Michael, I've never met you or your uncle, but I knew your mother and father through your sister Carrol, who was a member of the Newport Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Several years ago we found out your father was in our area and we visited him from time to time in Middletown. I was happy to read about your Dad's skill-full help in the 'Quick-Build' program, as we have just recently completed such a project here in Newport. Please accept our sincere condolences for the loss of your father and of course our belated condolences for the loss of your mother. We would like to meet you and know you. Please feel free to contact me anytime. PO Box 874, Portsmouth, RI 02871"
