"For Marty's Dear Loving Family, I've needed time to find the words to honor MartyWife, Mom, GrandMaand to try to express my most hearfelt sympathy. When Monica married my cousin Dave, there was a new family on the block! I often saw Marty and Frank and John, Suzette and Ben. I became very fond of you all and especially Marty. Her eyes shined of enjoying her family and life, always smiling. She always asked about my family and life. She gave of herself when help was needed. I know. Marty took time to talk to you when you needed someone to listen.I know. Her laugh would make you feel good. I know. We shared a lot of laughs. Her devotion and love of her family cannot be adequately put into words; you saw the love in action when Marty was with them all. I miss seeing Marty at gatherings at Monica and Dave's house; I hear how grandkids Wil and Emma miss her; I miss talking to her if she answered the phone when taking care of the grandkids; I miss waving and stopping to chat with Marty when she was out stroller-walking Charlie or out driving with Ben, Wil and Emma. Gosh, she adored her grandkids. And Sam....what a beauty!She is so pleased and proud to be a GrandMa, again. I just know it! I miss you Marty. I am so grateful for all the chats and Marty/Charlie sightings I had with you this year! We really had a chance to catch up. Thank you, Monica, for sharing your loving and wonderful Mother with me. "Martha and I met when we were 12 years old. We stood next to each other in gym class she was Crouch, I was Cherry. She started making wise-cracks, and I was instantly charmed.
