"Dear Missy and Family, I'm very sorry to hear about your mother's passing. My grandmother Mary thought the world of your mother, and I remember how kind your mom was to my her. My grandmother always had such wonderful things to say about her niece Carol. Although I didn't know your mom all that well, she was always kind and fun to talk to when I'd run into her here and there. She has obviously touched many lives, and she will be rewarded for her goodness. Take good care. I'll keep you all in my prayers."

"Richie, Timmy, Missy, Lionel and Families, My thoughts and prayer are with you at the lost of your mom. Carol was like a sister to me. She was one of the most humanistic and caring persons I have known. When I was in Vietnam she was the only person who wrote to me from the family and that meant so much to me. She was constantly at the nursing home to visit my mother and was a support to me and my family during her passing. We will miss her but I know she's in a better place now and some day we will meet again. God Bless you all. Al, Aurora, Jr & Amanda"
