"God Bless You George! I'll always remember his courage in fighting his cancer and his trip up here to Newport to die at home. I share it with everyone. He taught us determination and not to be afraid among many other things. I've known George since middle school and have many great memories. He left this world a better place and we're real lucky for him having been here. To George's family: I think of you often as well as George and hope you're doing well. The service touched me. George was a special guy. Many people are recently finding out about his passing and everyone I come across is saddened to hear it and always have wonderful things to say about him. "Dear Hudson Family, I am very sorry for your loss. Although I didn't know you, George always talked about his family. When George lived here in RI we would go out for drinks and then when he moved we kept in touch by phone and we would try to get together when he would make the trip here. He always wanted to know when I was going to go visit but I never did. We hadn't talked recently, and now I regret that we hadn't. He was such a nice guy, funny and would do anything for anyone. I always looked forward to hearing from him and I will never forget his smile. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I'll miss you George."

"To Mary,June, lynn, I would like to start of by saying, I'm very sorry for your loss. Ok here we go I can't believe i'm doing this. To a best friend like George who was a hard worker, and a great hockey player, has showed me over the years how to live a life, and become a better person. To a friend who lived with me and my family for years, and did everything he could to bend over backwards to help with anything i needed, whether i asked for help or not. To a friend that i considered more of a brother figure then a friend. To a friend that always had my back no matter what the circumstance was. I can not express enough how much of a loss George is to me and my family. George will be greatley missed in my life. So to a Great friend, I will always remember you, and the great times we had together...I will miss you and always love you, See you buddy... crying.."
