We will never forget him and will continue to remember all the great times on Maloney Lane with smiles & laughter as we have the past 20 years - whether it be the little ones helping "Happy Jack" pick off tiny pebbles from his prized tennis court, or the incredibly long day of the sailing race around to 3rd beach - where we came in last...but still Happy. Please know you are in our thoughts & prayers, and we're sure Ray was part of his welcoming committee, as he truly looked up to Jack with much respect. "Jason,Jen and family- I pray for you in these very tough and sorrowful times. Your father was a special man and he passed those traits on you, Jason and Jennifer. As you may know I lost my mother, Marty 67 years young as well, in Oct '07. Both full of life and great examples of how to lead our lives. I am saddened to know of the pain you feel Jason and if you ever need to talk I'm always here. Far too young that God has taken our loved ones, but with great loss comes greater inner strength. I thought I would share with you a prayer which I keep in my wallet and close to my heart, my mother's Serenity Prayer. "God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change... Courage to change the things I can and Wisdom to know the difference. I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one, I'd like to leave a afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun. Of happy memories that I leave when life is done... God Blees you all, John,Suzette,Ben and Sam Townsend"
