"Dear Bonnie, Mike, Caitlyn and Nicole, We are so sorry for your loss. In the time that we had with Kevin during his high school years it was clear that he would embrace life in whatever he decided to do. We look back on the way he brightened the long days of wrestling practice and meets with his ever present smile, quick wit, dancing eyes and his eagerness to make an impact on his team. Now we read his memorial and are not surprised at the man he has become. We thank you for raising and supporting such a brave and courageous soldier. We have witnessed the great impact that our medics have had in OEF and OIF and will be ever greatful for Kevin's service to his country, as well as the sacrifices you as his family made in defense of our freedoms. It is only with the knowledge that he is being held by his Heavenly Father that we can say.. until we meet again fine soldier rest safely know, your mission is done. Know that you are all held close in prayer, Gerry and Rich Duncan and family Nashua NH"
