"Jackie & Michael. I still have not gotten over Aunt Leah being gone and now Uncle Jack is gone too. It makes me so sad, but it also reminds me of all the good times. Being younger, I didn't share a lot of time with the older kids Jimmy, Vicki, and the two of you, but I do remember coming out and spending vacations at the big house with the spiral staircase and the small house near the beach. Uncle Jack & Aunt Leah let me stay in Michael's room and I got to listen to Michael's Rolling Stone Albums and look at his Mad Magazines, a big thrill for a 10 year old kid. I remember Jack taking me around and talking to me like I was an adult, he never treated me like a kid. He was and will always be my East Coast Uncle. My Love to the both of you."

"Jackie and Michael, I am very sorry for the loss of your Dad. Sometimes its hard for Dads and Sons to contect but I think your relationships were different. Uncle Jack was an honest and caring person and he was always great to be around. I remember when we lived in Maine coming down to visit when you lived in that huge house on the edge of town. The next year I rode down with your Mom on the bus and stayed the whole summer. Jack would walk with us down to a small walk-up restaurant next to the seawall and we would have the best seafood. Then he took me out claming very early one morning, which I didn't like much, but he had such a good time, it was hard not to have a good time with him. Everyone always said hello to us because he knew everyone, and I think he even said hello to people he didn't know. I will miss Uncle Jack and I hope everyone remembers what a kind and good man he was."
