Middletown, RI - Muriel A. Rolfe, 78, of 191 Forest Avenue, Middletown, RI, died Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Newport Hospital, Newport, RI.She was the wife of the late Myron L. Rolfe. Born in Manchester, NH on July 16, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Aline Gregoire Landry.Mrs. Rolfe worked for Verizon Telephone as an investigator for 32 years. She was an avid reader and loved bingo. But she enjoyed nothing more then spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons Mark Rolfe of Tampa, FL and Alan Rolfe of Portsmouth, RI, five grandchildren, Christopher Rolfe, Megan Rolfe, Jennifer Merchant, Stephanie Morris and Shawn Rolfe and her one great grandson. Her funeral will be held on Friday, April 16, 2010, at 8:00am, from the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00am, in Jesus Savior Church, Broadway, Newport, RI.Burial will be in Trinity Cemetery East Main Road Portsmouth.Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2010, from 5-8 in the funeral home.
