"We wish to convey our deepest sympathy on the death of Shirley. We travelled many times to Newport from Kinsale for the St.Patricks Day Parade the first stop after the parade was always the Kane household where we were warmly welcomed and got some reprieve from the cold and wet especially this year by sampling some of Shirley's specially made Irish stew. Our thoughts and Prayers are with the Kane and Plumley family at this sad time! Yours friends in Kinsale Charles and Theresa Henderson."
"My thoughts and prayers are with your entire family. You probably dont remember me but I use to live across the street from the Parvo's and worked for Al as his assistant landscaping in the summers. I remember meeting Shirley and her family during the summers. I remember the boys climbing the trees in the beautiful yard at the Parvo's. That was over 4o years ago. God Bless"
