"It is with great sadness that I read Tina Dolen's email tonight. Dr. Bob Quigley was the backbone of the Aquidneck Island Planning Commission for over twenty-five years. When I joined the AIPC, for my brief six year stay, Dr. Quigley welcomed me and gave me great support. It was an honor to serve on the commission with him. His leadership, and 'can do' attitude gave me what I needed to do my best while at the AIPC and, then, the courage to move on to newer challenges. I admired Bob Quigley greatly. I know that he will missed by all of us who had an opportunity to serve on any of his many boards and commissions. My heart goes out to his family and to those who had the honor to serve with him."
