Newport, RI - Pauline Metivier Tetrault, 80, formerly of West House, Middletown, RI, died on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Heatherwood Nursing Home in Newport.She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Tetrault. Born in Fall River, MA on September 19, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Rose Hebert Metivier.Mrs. Tetrault was a communicant of St. Barnabas Church, a member of the Portsmouth Senior Center, the Legion of Mary, the Red Hat Society and enjoyed knitting. She is survived by her children, Joseph A. Tetrault and his wife, Ann, of Middletown, RI, Paul Tetrault of Westport, MA, Cindy McKenna and her husband, Michael, of Portsmouth, RI, and Marc Tetrault and his wife, Deborah, of Warren, RI; her brothers and sister, Edward Metivier and Jacqueline Viens of Tiverton, RI, and Albert Metivier and his wife, Lorraine, of Portsmouth, RI; her grandchildren, Julie Ventura and her husband, Michael, Andrew Tetrault and his wife, Michelle, Evan Tetrault, Scott DeCastro, Amy DeCastro and Matthew Shelters, Matthew DeCastro, Jenna Tetrault and Brian Tetrault; and her great-grandchildren, Max, Emma and Jackson Ventura and Sophie and Keeley Tetrault. Her funeral will be held on Monday, February 28, 2011 at 9 am from Connors Funeral Home, 55 West Main Road, Portsmouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Barnabas Church, 1697 East Main Road, Portsmouth.Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 4-7 pm in the funeral home.Burial will be private. Donations in her memory may be made to VNS Hospice, 1184 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
