"I was Ed's caddy, in 1971 I was stationed at Augusta and received a letter from Ed to Clifford Roberts, head of the Masters and Augusta National. It read,"Dear Mr. Roberts, I was your caddy in Newport in 1955 when you played golf with President Eisenhower and you told me if i ever needed something and was in Augusta, to look you up. Weill I will probably never be in Augusta, but my caddy and friend, Billy Kelly is there. I would like to pass along the favor to him as he is stationed there in the military. Please enjoy meeting Billy Kelly."Needless to say, I took the letter, I went to the Masters Tournament and was treated lile royalty in 1971.May God Bless Ed.
