"To the Doncaster Family: I am sorry to learn of the passing Bill Doncaster. I became friends with him when he and Bobby opened the garage on Thames Street. I remember them helping me put air in my bike tires when I was a very young boy. They helped me with my cars when I was a student at college. It was always a pleasant experience to bring them coffee on my way home from school. They taught me about fixing cars. More importantly, they taught me about life. Only last weekend, I was in San Francisco talking to a friend about what Bill and Bob had taught me. I will never forget them.Peter Martin"
