Middletown, RI - Faith Hope (Souza) Kraft, 65, of Middletown, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at South County Hospital Wakefield, RI. She was the wife of the late Otto Kurt Kraft. Born in Newport, RI on February 7, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Alberta (Soeira) Anderson. Mrs. Kraft grew up in Middletown. She worked for 40 years for the Government in several companies but most recently for NUWC. She loved spending time at home, loved her little dogs and enjoyed weekend trips with her husband Otto. She is survived by her daughter Bethany Kraft of Newport, RI, her brothers, Herbert Souza of Newport, RI, and Robert Souza of Casa Grande, AZ and her nieces Michelle, Whitney and Sara.She was the mother of the late Megan Kraft, sister of the late Peter Souza and Anthony Souza and aunt of the late Steven.Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2014, from 3:00-5:00pm in the Memorial Funeral Home, 375 Broadway, Newport.Her funeral will be held on Monday, March 17, 2014, at 8:00 AM from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00am in St. Lucys Church, 909 West Main Road, Middletown.
