"To the Pascale Family (Marie, Lucille, Vincent)My deepest sympathies to the entire family. Hisae was a dear friend to my mother spanning many decades. For my mother, the memories they share are too numerous to count really - the restaurant, the friends, raising children, and the joy of being a grandparent, and most of all ... the endurance and strength it takes to be a military wife. Now she is in heaven with her beloved John. I'd like to take comfort that she is also with with Haruko and Mary B. sharing some ocha and laughing and smiling non-stop. May the many memories you share with your Mother and Grandmother console you and lift your spirits."
"To the Pascale Family (Marie, Lucille & Vincent), My deepest condolences to the entire Pascale family. Hisae was a dear friend whom I will forever cherish the many memories we share. There were countless get-togethers filled with laughter and food with many friends and road trips to the market. We will never forget the days and nights at the Restaurant where even more friendships were forged. The restaurant was a lot of work, but John and Hisae made it a success. Hisae dearly loved her husband, children and their spouses, and grandchildren. Her grandchildren brought her so much joy. Her spirit remains with us and she is missed very much."
