"Tyson was a good friend for seventy years, from high school onward. Willing to discuss any topic, laugh at our antics, and see as much of each other as possible. Ty, Jane, my wife Joan and I spent many happy hours together for many years. We never heard a word of complaint from Ty in all that time. He was bright, cheerful, and steadfast throughout his life, and never can be replaced. He will be sorely missed. Barry and Joan (Myers) Joseph"
