"Mrs. Violet was such a joy! I so enjoyed going in and visiting with her at Blenheim. I would sit with her at lunch and she would catch me up on all the "kids" and grandkids. She adored every single one! She was my absolute favorite to sit and talk with. She would love it when I would tell her about me running into one of her "kids" in Newport or somewhere. I had the honor of helping Mrs. Violet and her family move to Blenheim. She was well loved and a favorite of all staff and residents. She had such an endearing kindness about her. She had the greatest sense of humor! I'm not sure who of the "kids" had the best sense of humor like their Mum - you were all so funny. Your Mum would refer to her kids as the "boys" or "my daughter" and you could see the incredible pride and happiness at mentioning each one - she lit up a room just by being in it. I loved her. My prayers and hugs for you all. She definitely is an Angel watching over all of you now.Love to you all, Lalee Stevens"
