"Auntie, Teenie, Candie and family, my thoughts are will you all today. Keep all your good memories close to your heart and know he will be your guardian angle who will protect your all and will always be watching over you. I love you all and I'm here for you!!!! I am so blessed to have had such a great man that I called "Uncle" a man that took me in as his niece and the mother of his great niece and nephew.. Uncle was a hero, he served his country for 20 years and for that I salute him, thanks for your service. Besides serving his country he was a great Husband, Dad, Granddaddy, and so on.... a man who put his family first and his love for them was unconditional regardless of what the circumstances was good or bad.. I will never forget all my visits with him and all our conversations we had even though sometimes he was firm in his thoughts and we would debate about it and I would of course lose and he was always right... Uncle I will miss you and I will hold you close to my heart always and forever.. love you always...."

"During this time of loss, let God lead the way. The family that prays together, stays together. I can credit Willard with giving me the best advice I ever received. He made a life altering change in my life. He saw in me what I was to young to realize. Potential !!!! Here I am 4 decades later knowing that my love for your family is unsurpassed. Willard has left a life long impression on me. It truly takes a village. ? Where would I have been, if not for his persistence that I should join the service. Thank you Father,Brother, Uncle, Mentor for the insight to be able to share with the next struggling young person. The gift that will keep on giving. Go in God's grace Dear friend. Much love for your family"
