"So sad to hear of Ted's passing, otherwise known as my second dad! Always sweet, giving & kind...was there for me through a lot of difficult times...taught me how to drive and was patient through all the trial runs! Very proud and fortunate to have had him in my life for so many years and to be considered a part of his family. My heart goes out to the entire family, especially Lynne, Marty, Martin, and Chelsea....and, Cheryl, you hold a special place in my heart too! I know you must be heartbroken. Thinking of you and praying for peace and comfort in this most difficult time. Cherish the memories and keep the faith! May he rest in peace in paradise and may you all find comfort in knowing that. Thank you for your service in the United States Marine Corps, Ted...Semper Fi! You will be missed greatly. With much love, Donna Sousa & family (Fred, Kyle, and PFC Erick Sousa, USMC)."
