William Miles Ryan
October 11, 1935 - June 25, 2020
William Miles Ryan, a longtime resident of Chestnut Hill, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Sunrise of Lafayette Hill in Lafayette Hill, PA. He was 84 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, Miles was the son of the late W. Miles and Eugenia (nee Burns) Ryan.
Mr. Ryan was a veteran of the US Army, having achieved the rank of Sergeant. He was a graduate of Saint Joseph's University and was employed as a Travelers Insurance agent for thirty years prior to his retirement.
Miles was an accomplished golfer and was a member of the Montgomery County Blind Golfers Association. He was also a member of the Blind Veterans Association.
Miles is the dear brother of Dina Kennedy and her husband Rusty, of Ambler, PA; Mary Miles Ryan of California; Katherine Joy Ryan of California; and Robert Ryan and his wife Christine of Ambler. He was the loving uncle of several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
