In loving memory of

Mark C. Nathan
February 19, 1953 - July 1, 2020

To know Mark Nathan, was truly a privilege. He embodied kindness and caring for all those souls whom he touched in his life, and will continue to resonate within all of us.

Mark was a loving brother who had challenges, he faithfully stepped up to each one and never lost his smile. Born and raised in Fort Washington, the community also embraced Mark and looked out for him as he "rode his bike" around the neighborhood and the neighboring towns. Mark had a name for everyone he met and most stuck with them over time. We all cherished them as monikers of his affection and with it brought many smiles. No one was offended unless they didn't have one!

With the support of his parents (the late Harold and Jeanne) and his brothers, Richard (Lorena), Michael, Philip (Eliana) & Larry (Susan) in Mark's life, further helped in developing his independence for the future. Mark had his Aunt Peg and many cousins who deeply cared for him, along with nieces, nephews and "sisters" acquired in his life (Gail O and Karen K). Many of the neighbors on Hartranft avenue made further impacts on Mark's life as well.

Mark had lived in Florida with his mom until her passing in 2019. He was then in the care of Traci & Shamonna who took extra special care of Mark for us. We can't thank them enough for all they did!

Mark's untimely passing on July 1, 2020, came during the Covid pandemic, which restricted the family to put together a proper service. We are now having that service for Mark on Saturday, June 12th, 2021. Visitation is at Saint Anthony's R.C. Church, (Ambler, Pa) from 9:30 am -10:00 AM and Mass at 10:00 AM with Rev. John Lyons. Interment will be held privately.
