Sandra M. Pogwizd, age 75, of Ames, Iowa, died Friday, July 10, 2020, at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will not be having a public memorial at this time. A Celebration of Sandra's Life will be held at a later date. Condolences may be expressed online at www.amesmonument.com.
Sandra was born October 11, 1944, in Ames, Iowa, the daughter of Marion and Doris (Comstock) Link. She graduated from Ames High School in 1962.
Sandra is survived by two sons, Dominic (Laura) Pogwizd of Ames, and Shawn (Kathy) Pogwizd of Nevada; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Albert Link; and a sister, Lynn McVicker.
Ames Monument & Cremation Center has been entrusted with the care of Sandra and her family.
