"Chris lived down the street from me. We would trade book authors; fiction and science-based ecology. He joined me one day to help Wheelock Wilson collect legacy apple cuttings from an orchard being closed and turned into housing. We were 15 or 16 at the time. Sharing our interests helped me focus on a future career."

Dick Boerger wrote on Jul 20, 2020:

"Chris and I were real pals in High School. I think that the last time I saw him was in 1971. Chris was always a lot of fun and had a high powered opinion on about everything in life. Enjoyed scooping the loop with Chris in the car. I will miss him. Dick Boerger Class of 1969"

"Cherie & Tommy, words cannot express our sorrow on the loss of your husband and dad. Life being sooo precious and short always comers to the forefront at a time like this, especially when ones is directly effect as you two are experiencing right now. Know you and your families are in all our thoughts and prayers. Remember ALL the the good times, celebrate all the great times the three of you had together over the short years you had. This pain will become easier as you remember Chris as time moves forward. God bless you, Cherie and Tommy, and the entire Jones family. Roger and Marlene Bauder "
