Clara Kathleen "Logi" Lager
August 28, 1988 - July 4, 2020

Clara Kathleen "Logi" Lager, age 31, of Ames, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020, near Colo, Iowa.

Logi was born August 28, 1988, in Harghita County, Romania, and was brought to the United States at the age of two by her parents, Kelly and Kris (Perry) Lager. She grew up in rural Story County and graduated from Nevada High School in 2007. Logi earned her associate's degree from DMACC in 2012, followed by her bachelor's degree in psychology from Iowa State University in 2014.

Logi was very family-oriented and possessed an innate sense of social justice her entire life. Her creative nature was expressed through her words and paintings. Animals held a special place in her heart, especially her two fur babies, Emmi and Keeper.

Survivors include her wife, Indria "Indi" Jenkins; her parents, Kelly and Kris Lager of Colo; a sister, Lucy Lager of Ames; paternal grandparents, Bob Lager of Raymore, MO, and Clara (Will Spangler) Lager of Leavenworth, KS; maternal grandmother, Kathleen Perry of Kansas City, MO; her father-in-law, Frankie Jenkins, Sr. of Martinez, GA; a brother-in-law, Frankie (Katrina) Jenkins, Jr. of San Antonio, TX; and a sister-in-law, TieLeasha Jenkins of Atlanta, GA. She also treasured her niece, nephews, cousins, and other extended family members.

Logi was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Tom Perry; and her mother-in-law, Martha Jenkins.

Ames Monument & Cremation Center has been entrusted with the care of Clara and her family.
