Patsy Ballard Kirk

Patsy Ballard Kirk, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. She was born on March 12, 1929, in Electra, Texas, the daughter of Jesse and Velma Ballard. She graduated from Electra High School and attended Texas Tech University and Midwestern State University (but was a true Texas Longhorn at heart).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Judge Stanley C. Kirk and brother, Van Ballard. Patsy is survived by her daughter, Karol Bell and her husband Robert Bell; her son, Van Kirk and Cain Kirk and his wife Susanne Kirk, along with their children Mollie Kirk Greenwood and husband Dale, William Kirk, and Robert Kirk.
Patsy was a loved and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren. She was a smart, fun, gracious lady - a fantastic cook who loved to entertain. Being included on her guest list was always an honor. No one made better fried chicken!
Words are inadequate to describe the love and unwavering care provided by her personal caregiver, Olu. The family is grateful for the companionship and loving support she has shown to Patsy over these years.
