"To all of Laura's family, I can't tell you how sad I am to learn of her death. She was so gracious to my Mother and me, when we first met her many years ago. She had a caring and giving nature about her and she showed it to those she cared about. I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers and I send you my love and sympathy. I am SO very sorry for your loss. Shirley Bauer Redding CA"
"I am deeply sadden to hear about Laura. I first met her in elementary school. I always considered her to be a very bright, friendly and caring person. I loved her (and Maureen's) warm and friendly smile. It had a way of making others feel good. Maureen and my brother (Dewayne) were in the same class and Ray and my sister (Donna) were classmates. After reading about Laura's life, I learned that it wasn't just her smile that had an impact on people. I was blessed to know her and I am very deeply sorry for your loss. I will be thinking about you and praying for you during this difficult time in your life."
