"I worked with Dennis at Motorola in Mt Pleasant. He was always helpful and friendly. I lived in Swedesburg at the time and was privy to story about Dennis there. Dennis will be missed by all who knew him. I know he is in heaven making everyone feel good about themselves. "

"I haven't been able to Not think about Cousin Dennis' passing, and the sadness and dismay that he's gone is stiil fresh in my mind. But this is about a memory, and my recurring one is of when Dennis and Linda lived here in AZ, out in Sun Lakes. They had a beautiful house out here, both inside and out. And it's outside where my memory lies. Dennis called me up one day and asked me if I could do some electrical work for him in his backyard. I wasn't working much then and said sure. When I got out to their house, I was impressed. The backyard almost seemed small for such an impressive structure. As I recall his circuit panel was on the North side of the house, on the outside wall. Dennis had a new hot tub in the back that he wanted to get power fed to. I believe the panel was around 50 ft. away from the side of the hot tub where the power hook up was at. Dennis graciously offered to, and did the digging for the pipe running underground to his tub. I know we made at least a couple of trips to the store for all the required materials and parts. It only took a few days and I don't even know how much, if at all, he and Linda got to use it. It seemed like it wasn't even a month and my Dad was telling me they moved back to Iowa. It was probably longer, but it was a fun job, done for people I love, and it helped us both out. I am wondering if they have hot tubs in Heaven though, because Dennis surely deserves one. R.I.P. Cousin Dennis. I'll miss you always. Be at peace. KENT K. S. HANSEN"

"Im very saddened to hear of Dennys passing and will continue to miss him. We were co-workers who became friends back in the early 80s and have stayed in touch via phone and e-mail since. I have fond memories of work and pleasure travel with him. I will sorely miss being able to call him for a chat. Denny was friend to many and always eager to help and volunteer. He was faithful to God and showed his faith in the way he lived. All who knew him will miss him. Thankfully, he is in a better place now. "

Jerry Parks wrote on Mar 25, 2020:

"Linda and the Robertson family,I was so sorry to hear of Denny's passing. We usually sat at the same table during Kiwanis meetings. Denny was a great addition to our Kiwanis club and the model of a perfect Kiwanian - friendly, good-natured, always willing to jump in on a project, interested in the community and wanting to make it a better place to live. I was hoping he would accept a future request to serve as president of our group.I was disappointed that the Klein Center had to shut down to visitors the week we were going to have our meeting there to visit and honor Denny. Our special thoughts go out to Linda. She has had to deal with more than any one person should have to deal with in the last few months, from a surprise onset of a horrible disease to changing prognoses to reconfiguring a home to dealing with Denny's changing reactions to the disease. We hope she finds lots of comfort and support in the coming weeks. Jerry and Lin Parks"
