Melissa Ann Laufenberg (Dartsch), age 54, passed away peacefully on July 8th, 2020 after her year long battle with cancer. She was born on September 14th, 1965 in Darlington WI. Melissa fell in love with the boy-next-door, Ron Laufenberg, whom she later married on May 4th, 1985.
Melissa loved and cherished her time spent with her family and her animals. She had a passion for cooking and looked forward to cooking Sunday afternoon meals for her loved ones to enjoy. Melissa always loved a good, hot fire on cold winter days and enjoyed beautiful evenings sitting out on her front porch. What made her most happy were the times spent with her two young grandsons.
Melissa is survived by her husband Ron Laufenberg, her two sons Jonathan (Morgan) Laufenberg, Joshua (Maddie) Laufenberg, and grandchildren Jordan and Camden Laufenberg.
Melissa will forever be missed by her family and friends. We know she will be watching over us. Someday, we will all be together again, meeting at her front porch.
