Mr. Jeffrey S. Basch, age 68, passed away Monday, July 13, 2020. He was born in Muskegon, MI on November 27, 1951 to Sherwood and Millicent (Anderson) Basch. He married the former Amy Compagner on February 29, 1988 in Muskegon, MI. Mr. Basch had been the owner of Quality Paving for over 30 years. Jeffrey attended Calvin Christian Reformed Church and enjoyed history, reading, boating, fishing and traveling with family.

SURVIVORS

Wife, Amy Basch; daughters, Shaun (Roger) Basch Posthumus of Muskegon and Leah Basch of North Muskegon; step-sons, Seth (Molly) Miersma of Ann Arbor and Aaron (Angie) Miersma of Michigan City, IN; grandchildren, Quinn, Esther, Adrian, Lorne, Jude, Marek and Jack; sister, Sue (Stanley) Samdal of FL and mother-in-law, Pauline Stroven of Zeeland. He was preceded in death by his parents.

MEMORIAL SERVICE

A Memorial Service celebrating Jeff's life will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at Clock Chapel - Muskegon at 3:00 pm with Rev. Mark Milkamp officiating. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Face Masks are required and social distancing will be requested.
