In loving memory of

Kathy Lee Mann
June 13, 1951 - July 15, 2020

Kathy Lee Mann, age 69, of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, passed away on July 15, 2020. Born, June 13, 1951 in Pontiac, Michigan, Kathy and her sister Carol (now Danley) were raised by her parents, Harold Henry Meyers and Noreen Ethlyn Meyers in Detroit, Michigan. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence C. Mann, her daughter Lauren Kathleen Mann and her sister Carol along with her husband Wayne Danley and their children and grandchildren.

Kathy loved animals from an early age and as she matured grew a robust appetite for shopping, music, travel and fast cars. She doted on her nieces Dawn Danley Seaman, Tara Belonga, Bridget Keltner and Shannon Modglin and their offspring. She was not just "Aunt Kathy," she was also a good friend. The nieces relished Kathy's visits bearing stylish clothes and batteries for their toys. Kathy fiercely loved her family and brought an infectious, big smile to family gatherings.

Kathy graduated Wayne State University with a business degree, was an early female pioneer in auto sales and finance and ultimately retired from Great Lakes Export.

In lieu of a memorial service at this time, a Memorial Wall has been established by the Verheyden Funeral Home at www.verheyden.org. Please visit the site, peruse the many photographs. You are free to upload remembrances and photographs to the site.

At some future point we will convene a fitting memorial service wherein Kathy's family and many friends can mingle and share memories of the joy she shared with all of them.
