Carol T. Wanicke, age 79, of Roseville, Michigan, passed away July 15, 2020. Born June 5, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Harriet and Stanley Weiss. Loving wife of the late Richard for 51 years. Beloved mother of Steven (Megan Finn) Wanicke and Cynthia Wanicke. Proud grandmother of Douglas (Rachel) Boggs, Hayden Boggs, Samuel Wanicke, and Austin Boggs. Dear sister of Beverly Light and Richard (Carol) Weiss.
Carol was an avid golfer and especially loved golfing with her late husband, Richard. When she was not playing shanghai rummy with her family or skip-bo with her friends, she enjoyed decorating and crafting. Carol was a member of New Wineskins Ministry for over 6 years and enjoyed being a member of their community. More then anything, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, July 19, 2020 from 12pm until 4:30 pm at Chas. Verheyden, Inc. 21705 Gratiot Avenue, Eastpointe, 48021. Due to COVID-19 health concerns a mask or other face covering is required while inside the funeral home.
