Charles W. "Chas" Keeley, Jr.
May 12, 1937 - July 16, 2020

Charles W. "Chas" Keeley, Jr., 83 of Ambler PA., died Thursday, July 16, 2020 in the Abington Hospital Jefferson Health.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late Charles and Regina (nee Smith) Keeley.

Chas was a graduate of North East Catholic High School, Class of 1956, and served in the United States Army and Reserves from 1960 to 1966. During his service, he spent time in Korea.

He was an Auto Mechanic, employed by Yale/Eastern Fork Lift in Willow Grove, PA for 25 years before retiring in May 1999.

Chas was an active member of St. Alphonsus Parish. He loved to travel and camp. He traveled to national parks across the US and often traveled to Florida in his Coach. He enjoyed woodworking, cooking, and was an excellent mechanic and handyman. He collected antique model trains, tools, and gadgets. Chas enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the kids.

Chas is survived by brothers Lawrence G Keeley and his wife Carol "Jean" of Ambler, PA; Paul A. Keeley and wife Marie of Philadelphia; Gerard "Gerry" J. Keeley and partner Evonne Boyle of Marietta, GA, and James H. Keeley and his wife Tricia of Dillsburg, PA. He is also survived by 29 nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Relative and friends may call Wednesday, July 22, 2020, from 9:00 to 10.30 AM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home,1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler. An 11:00 AM Funeral Mass will be held at St. Alphonsus Church 33 Conwell Drive, Maple Glen, PA 19002 with Rev. Msgr. Brian P. Hennessy, Pastor, and Celebrant. Interment will be in St. Dominic's Cemetery, Philadelphia.

Remembrances in his name to St. Alphonsus Church 33 Conwell Drive Maple Glen, PA 19002 would be appreciated by the family.

I have many wonderful memories of Chas. our families celebrating the Holidays, Birthdays, Graduations, Weddings.... many happy times of family, food & fellowship!!
