"This is one of those \"Goddamnitsomuch!\" moments. Art was good man and lived for the golden days when radio actually served the community, and kept that tradition alive. His humor and humanity were tried, tested, and proven over his well over four-decades as not just a broadcaster but a familiar voice and comforting voice that will be missed. I am honored to have been a colleague and friend. Godspeed Art. "

Jim Raposa wrote on Jul 18, 2020:

"Art was a colleague and friend. His enthusiasm for radio and public service was infectious. He was also one of the funniest people I ever had the honor to call a friend. Rest well, pal. Your passing leaves a void too big to put into words. - Jim Raposa"

Christine S. Fagan wrote on Jul 18, 2020:

"Art was such an enthusiastic and kind soul. Some years ago, he interviewed me regarding an exhibition and programming series on Elizabeth I that I was mounting at the Roger Williams University Library. I was nervous about being on the radio, but he quickly put me at ease with his congenial manner. I will never forget that moment. It is exemplary of who he was. He was one of a kind and will be deeply missed by many. With sympathy to family and friends, Christine S. Fagan"
