Lisa Underwood, age 57, of Sarasota, FL, went to be with the Lord on the 17th of July 2020, at home, where she was surrounded by her family.

Lisa was born March 5, 1963 in Sarasota, FL to Nelson and Carol Yoder. Lisa was a graduate of Riverview High School, Sarasota, in 1981. She went on to further her education at Manatee Community College in Bradenton. After working as a dental assistant for several years, Lisa went on to obtain her degree and complete her board exams in Dental Hygiene at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, FL. Through mutual friends, she met and later married her husband, Kevin, of 25 years.

She is preceded in death by her father Nelson; survived by her husband, her mother Carol, stepmother Janice, stepfather Jeff, brother Glenn, and her 2 children Griffin and Madison, in-laws Wayne and Valerie Cooper, Joe and Rosemary Underwood, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Lisa was blessed to have so many people who loved her--both personally and professionally. Each day, she would brighten the lives of those she came into contact with. Her family, friends, acquaintances, and patients will all greatly miss her smile and sense of humor.

The family wants to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support in so many different ways over the last few years--and especially during these recent months.
