Walter "Walt" J. Vallie, age 61, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020 at the Poppen Residence of Harbor Hospice. He was born December 25, 1958 in Muskegon to Kenneth and Rose (Stefanich) Vallie. Walt worked many years as a bartender for Town Tavern and later worked 20 years as a paint tech for Herman Miller retiring in 2014. Walt loved people and was very outgoing and social. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include his daughter, Melissa (Jeremy Buckner) Vallie; 2 grandchildren, Ethan and Devin Buckner; 2 brothers, Roy (Ellen) Vallie, Mark Vallie; 1 sister, Chris (Mark Brown) Vallie; and his girlfriend, Kimberly Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Rose Vallie, 2 brothers, Ken and Gene Vallie, and 1 sister at childbirth. In keeping with Walt's wishes, there will be no services at this time.
