Alberther Francis, 90, of Kingston, NY, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at home in Kingston. She was born on July 20, 1930 in Boykins, Virginia, daughter of the late Claude and Emma (Davis) Harris. She was married to the late James J.W. Francis, who passed away on May 21, 2008.
She enjoyed music, Bingo, playing Spades, but above all, spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great granddaughter.
Alberther is survived by her children, Sylvia Diane Francis of Spring Valley, NY, and Margo Francis of Kingston, her grandchildren, Yakiesha Morbeth Francis and her husband Raymond Robinson of Kingston, Earleen Mitchell and her husband Shamel of Kingston, Coreen Sanchez of Kingston, Kenneth William Francis and his wife Elosia Torres Francis of Haverstraw, NY, Keyondra May King of Kingston, Marleen Francis of Kingston, James A. Grey of Spring Valley, NY, Rose M. Grey of Spring Valley, NY, and Tiffany N. Francis, Spring Valley, NY, thirteen great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she is predeceased by her sons, Little June Sheppard, James William "Bonnie" Francis, Jr., and Willie Floyd Francis, her siblings, Charlie West, Jesse West, Worley West, Joyce West, Annie Mae Wright, and Shirley Sykes.
