Jeanne Ellen (Miller) Krehbiel
January 15, 1953 - July 26, 2020
Jeanne Ellen Miller (Krehbiel), 67, of Fort Dodge, Iowa, passed away at her home on July 26, 2020. She was born on January 15,1953, in Sacramento, California to Vivian Larson and Bobbie "Ike" Miller. She spent her childhood traveling between Iowa and California before settling permanently in Iowa. She earned her Associate degree in Psychology from DMACC in Boone, Iowa. She held a variety of jobs in food service to include the Hy-Vee Deli Manager in Cherokee, IA and owner and operator of The Camelot Restaurant and Lounge in Ida Grove, IA. She had a great passion for helping animals and could be found at the local veterinarian office and the Boone County Humane Society. She enjoyed rescuing abandoned and injured wildlife and always had a pet by her side.
She is survived by two children; Alicia (Mark Schiltz) Krehbiel of Nevada, IA and Michael (Marissa) Krehbiel of Maricopa, AZ: five grandchildren: Zachary Lindahl, Dakota Buse, Jesse Buse, Cole Krehbiel, Ayden Krehbiel: one great grandchild, Elise Ann Buse. Jeanne is also survived by sisters, Judy and Sheila Miller and one brother, Tracy Miller.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and two children (William and Shannon).
A memorial service will be held August 8th from 2-6 at the SCORE Pavilion 1543 Fawcett Parkway, Nevada, IA.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Alicia Krehbiel (905 J Ave, Nevada, Iowa 50201) to assist with funeral arrangements. Excess funds will be donated to The Animal Rescue League and the Boone County Humane Society.
