Donald N. Johnson
May 18, 1934 - August 2, 2020

Donald Norman Johnson, 86, of Hampton, formerly of East Corinth, Maine, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020, at the Rehabilitation Center of Hampton. He was born May 18, 1934, in Wisconsin, to Norman and Charlotte (Loomis) Johnson.

Don graduated from East High School in Madison, Wisconsin. He drove semi-truck for multiple companies before becoming a long-haul owner and operator, driving all over the United States. He enjoyed playing bingo, riding horses and watching rodeos, chuck wagon races and John Wayne. Don also enjoyed drinking beer and visiting with friends. He had a strong bond with his dog, Herman, and loved him very much.

Don is survived by his daughter Penny (Leroy) Miller of Hampton; daughter Pam Hansen of Mason City; son Curt (Jamie) Johnson of Iowa Falls; grandchildren Nicole Woods, Alicia Miller, Brandon Miller, Cole (Rachael) Hansen, Samantha (Kyle) Janssen, Storm (Madison) Johnson, Jacobi Johnson and Tripp Johnson; great grandchildren Caden Woods, Carter Janssen, Ryleigh Janssen, Beckett Janssen, Reid Janssen, Mason Hansen and Bentley Haus-Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jerry Johnson, grandson Logan Meyer and life partner Edith Tilton.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
