"I do not personally know Steven, but I can tell he was passionate with a beautiful, creative soul. I was hoping to purchase one of his dice once I had the funds to do so, yet alas.... My heart goes out to you and your family. May he live on with his creations in the hands of people who admire his work. He will be missed, but not forgotten. Lots of love and stay safe. Sincerely, Syaza"

"Dear Collins family, I'm so sorry for your loss. My boyfriend and I purchased dnd dice from him earlier this year. He was kind, creative, and very passionate about his work. He sent a note in our package apologizing for the delay even though he had no control over it. I use his dice in my podcast and mentioned that his dice were my favourite in one episode. He was excited to hear that I was using his work. He will be missed so much. Sincerely, Kendalyn Aldridge "

"Dear Collins family, I am so sorry for your loss. Mutual friends pointed me here to perhaps help relieve the burden of his unfulfilled Kicsktarter orders. I run Gate Keeper Games and Dice, and could potentially handle all of the outstanding orders and shipping for you. I have no self-interest in this, and do not want to make any profit from it at all. I only want to help ship those orders (at my cost if necessary). If this is a need, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at KeeperoftheGateGames@gmail.com. Yours, John Wrot!"

"For the longest time Steven was the cool friend of my older brother. In fourth grade I started to also know him as the older brother of my own close friend-- I was able to glimpse more of his personality as I visited your family home and spent time with Heidi. Finally, though, years later when he attended BYU-Idaho, he became a friend of my own. I really enjoyed getting to know him. He was such a wonderful, thoughtful friend with the cleverest of minds and the firmest of determinations to live life with vigor. I have met none who were his equal in living life fully "present." He experienced both joys and sorrows with the depth of his soul. When Steven put his mind to something he went "all in!" I never saw Steven half-determined to do something. In Chinese class all our classmates were endlessly impressed with his beautiful calligraphy. Both his written English and Chinese characters were flawlessly beautiful! Having spent time in your home and seen his illegible schoolwork pinned to the fridge, I always tried to convey to them how much more there was to be amazed about regarding his handwriting. I'm not sure they ever fully grasped it. I remember it as another prime example of his determination to obtain his goals. It makes me smile to remember that he would never respond to a question with a simple, "yes" or "no." It was always "affirmative," or "negative," or "aye." What a clever, fun guy to be around! Once Steven ran a whole 5k in chainmail that he'd made on his own. When he put his mind to something he really went in full-hearted. Love this guy. I'm so saddened by his passing. We have precious few souls in this world as sincere as this man. My love goes to his entire family-- yours has always been a family I admire and enjoy being around. ?????????!"

"I met Steven (also known on campus as captain sparkles) through the Humans vs Zombies event while at Utah State University. Not only was he a great leader during the events who was loved by many other students, he was kind to everyone and had a positive influence on a lot of people. During the rest of my time at USU we became pretty good friends and I would come to know Steven for the great man he was. I particularly remember all the fun times we had staying up late watching movies and shows together and trying a tabletop game for the first time with him and a couple other friends. A funny memory I have of him is how he used to use a real sword to kill spiders in his home. Even though its been a while since I've seen Steven it still devastated me to hear about his passing and he will be missed. My condolences to his family and other friends and I will be praying for you guys."

"I only knew Steven 'virtually', via his Etsy shop and his Kickstarter, swapping correspondence by email. However, his passing is none the less painful to hear. It was clear that, as with most creative types, he was an open, very honest and sensitive soul. The world is a little less bright today after the passing of such a talented individual, taken from us far too soon. I will light a candle on Friday in Stevens' honour, here in Edinburgh, Scotland. Deepest sympathies to his family and friends. Rob Nuttall"
