Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 14, 2020, at the Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 14, 2020, at the Sietsema Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton. Burial will take place in the Hampton Cemetery.

Santos Ramirez Jr. (known as Junior), age 23 months, of Hampton passed away at Franklin General Hospital. He was born August 6, 2018, in Mason City, to Santos Ramirez and Valerie Zavala. Junior was a very joyful little boy. His smile had the power to warm your heart in seconds. He always lit up the room when he walked in. Baby Junior knew how much he was loved by everyone. His favorite toy was a wooden rocking horse. He loved watching Cocomelon, playing ball with his stepdad Jhonny, dancing and going on adventures with his mom and stepdad. He also enjoyed cruising around in his mustang.

Santos Jr. is survived by his mother Valerie Zavala; father Santos Ramirez; maternal grandmother Yanira Mejia; maternal great grandparents Bruno and Irma Zavala; paternal great grandparents Mario Moreno and Ana Ramirez; step-father Jhonny Suarez; aunts and uncles Jasmine Coronado, Evelyn Zavala, Alexa Zavala, Jeremiah Mejia, Alfredro Ramirez, Homero Ramirez Jr., Cristian Ramirez, Daniel Ramirez; along with numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Homero Ramirez.


Santos Ramirez Jr. (conocido como Junior), 23 meses de edad, de Hampton falleció en Franklin General Hospital. Nació el 6 de agosto de 2018 en mason city, hijo de Santos Ramirez y Valerie Zavala. Junior era un niño muy alegre. Su sonrisa tenía el poder de calentar tu corazón en segundos. Siempre iluminaba la habitación cuando entraba. Baby Junior sabía cuánto lo amaban todos. Su juguete favorito era un caballito de madera. Le encantaba ver Cocomelon, jugar a la pelota con su padrastro Jhonny, bailar y tener aventuras con mamá y padrastro. También disfrutaba paseando en su mustang.

A Santos Jr. le sobreviven su madre Valerie Zavala; el padre Santos Ramirez; abuela materna Yanira Mejia; los bisabuelos maternos Bruno e Irma Zavala; los bisabuelos paternos Mario Moreno y Ana Ramirez; el padrastro Jhonny Suarez; tías y tíos Jasmine Coronado, Evelyn Zavala, Alexa Zavala, Jeremiah Mejia, Alfredro Ramirez, Homero Ramirez Jr., Cristian Ramirez, Daniel Ramirez; junto con numerosos primos. Le precedió en la muerte su abuelo paterno Homero Ramírez.
