"So many wonderful memories of Uncle Charles, he was not only my uncle, but one of my long time, very best friends. So many good laughs together! So many good talks together! So many good meals together! He was an incredible human being. When I think of Uncle Charles I think of fun, I think of good jokes, I think of laughter. I think of home made pizza! But when we were not laughing together, he was one of the most Godly, honest, caring, sharing, generous, thoughtful, wise, hard working, innovative, creative, predictable men on the planet. We were close friends for so many years. We lived near each other. We raised our families together. We worshiped together. We went on picnics together. We worked for the same company for many years. Yes, I will miss him terribly, he can never be replaced in my life, he was a unique individual, a phenomenal creation of Almighty God, but now heaven has him but we will be united again soon. I love you, Uncle Charles. Your nephew, Steve. "

"What a great loss, but nothing is too hard for God. He will always be there to comfort and guide you, even though I know you felt your dad was your favorite and best comforter and guide. Uncle Charles was a great guy! Always had a smile for you, and like Faith said, he always made us laugh. What wonderful memories we have had with him and all his family. Bernice, I know you will miss him greatly, but we will keep you in our prayers always. Love, Sandra Foster"

"Uncle Charles was a legendary home-move-maker. His videos were never boring to watch and he was years ahead of his time. As a kid, I remember watching videos he made where he would overdub music and even have the kids record commentary. And he did it all with a VCR and a Cassette player- no computers! His creativity inspired me to get into video production which I've been doing now for 20 years. He never stopped learning and was never too old to tackle new technology- that challenges me every day to keep learning. I'll miss him greatly. I'm sure he'll keep the angels laughing and will have some new videos for us all to watch when we see him again in heaven. "

"So many wonderful memories of uncle Charles. He took me to school when i was in first grade. He tought me all the names of the el train stations. We played countless games of monopoly together while he snacked on a bowl of shredded carrots. He loved to tease Grandmom and when she would get upset with him he would tell her how beautiful her hair looked and then she would just have to laugh. What fond memories.... Road in a corvair to Altoona with him in the winter and the car had no heat! That was fun! I will miss you terribly! You were so much a part of my past!"
