Mr. Phillip Warren Kary, age 76, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020. He was born in Muskegon, MI on August 10, 1944 to Frank & Amy (Witteveen) Kary. He married the former Susan Penzien on July 30, 1983. Mr. Kary was a design engineer at Lift Tech until retiring in 2009. Phil was good at everything he did. He was a member of Muskegon Outriders, Lithuanian Club and loved drag racing at the Mid Michigan Motor Plex. He enjoyed photography, woodworking, was an avid cigar smoker, collected WWII memorabilia, and was a rescuer of cats for many years

Wife, Susan; sons, Richard (Sandra) Kary, Phillip (Christy Villanueva) Kary II; grandchildren, Anthony Petty, Joseph Petty, Nicole Kary, Phillip Kary III, Logan Kary; great grandchildren, Lydia Petty, Stewart Petty, Levi Petty, Ian Petty; brother, Ken (Rhonda) Kary; Brother-in-law Dr. Donald Penzien; Sister-in-law Stacie Penzien (Jeremy) Hamstra ; Nieces and Nephews,Travis Kary, Caitlin Penzien (Dylan) Scott, Evie, Nick (McKinzie) Anderson & August, Mackenzie Anderson and many cousins and extended family.
