"Sharon, I just heard this news today and I am so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. My thoughts are with you and your family. Debbie Jordan"
Michael was born on May 15, 1937 to Julius and Rose (Simon) Miller in Brooklyn, New York. He joined the Air Force in 1955 and moved to Dallas in 1959 where he met his wife Sharon.
With Mike's knowledge of the liquor business, and savvy business skills, he and Sharon started Margaritas-R-Us in 1984. They joined several hospitality organizations and Mike was well-known and loved for his likable personality, networking and sales skills. In 1996, they started Drinks Fantastic.
If you remember, "If you can sip it thru a straw and say, Wow!" then you knew Mike!
Michael was an active member of the Jewish War Veterans, Post 256. All collected donations are used to purchase equipment and items requested by the VA Hospital in Dallas to benefit patients.
In 54 years, Mike and Sharon never lost their sense of humor and were always laughing together. Mike enjoyed playing backgammon, reading, going food-shopping and cooking. He made Sundays special by cooking brunch for the family. He was loved and will be sorely missed.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, and his granddaughter Ashley Rose Miller. He is survived by his amazing wife, Sharon, his loving sons Ron, Steve and his wife Julie, brother-in-law Michael Stower and his wife Jane, grandchildren Jackson, Morgann and Marc.
On Wednesday, Sept. 16th there will be a graveside service for immediate family only.
