"Mike will be missed by all. His untimely passing is a shock to all of us. He was an amazing man with deep love for his family. He was so proud of his wife and children and spoke of them very often, He always put his family first. Mike always had a larger than life smile and with his laughter he would brighten up any room. Mike always made me feel like a brother more than a brother-in-law. Our family will deeply miss him and we will always have a place in our hearts for him. Our thoughts and prayers are with him, Julie, and Children. Rest in peace brother we will met again with all or loved ones, Mike, Roxie, Michael, Monique, Nicholas. "

"I've been lucky enough to know Mike and the Robinson family for about 25 years. Both of our families had the honor and blessing of raising our boys together. They played SO many sports together over the years and continued on to high school together and remain dear friends. In all those years, at all those sports, Mike was there to watch his son. His pride in his boy was always apparent and the future of our two boys often came up in conversation. Mike knew without waver that his David would accomplish big things. He would always talk to me about how he loved David and Conor being good friends and that he knew they would go further in life because of it. My husband had a bone marrow transplant when David and Conor were in sixth grade and the sport they were playing that year was basketball. Mike was busy working, raising his own kids, helping coach basketball... he was busy. However, when he heard about what was going on with our family, he called me and said "Don't worry one second about Conor and basketball. I'll take him to all the practices and games. You just take care of Doug and things at home." So, not only did Conor get to do something he loved, he got to hang out with his bestie and destress at a time when stress was very high in our home. Mike couldn't have given me a greater gift. It was selfless and for me ,at the time, downright heroic. He loved my son and his son and was a good role model for both of them in so many ways. His loss is vast. He was a big man, with a big heart. We will all miss you, Mike. I wish you peace. Sending all the love to the rest of the Robinsons."
