Carol A. Steib, 72, of Fort Dodge passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020.
No services are planned at this time. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home is serving the family.
Carol is survived by her husband, Dennis Steib of Fort Dodge; children, Allen (Kristi) Steib and Jackie Steib, both of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Nick Hogan, Zak Steib, Abigayle Steib and Karsyn Steib; great-grandchildren, Kaden, Harpper, Emarie, Shayna, Owen, and Halle; siblings, Jack (Pat) Marsh and Judy Andrews of Fort Dodge.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Darlene (Breeden) Marsh and brother, Edwin Marsh, Jr.
Carol Ann Marsh was born March 27, 1948 in Fort Dodge. She attended Fort Dodge public schools. In 1964 she was united in marriage to Dennis Steib at Sacred Heart Church. The couple made their home in the Coleman area of Fort Dodge and later moved to Tara where they established Tri-Pac Auto Crushers. The company later moved to Fort Dodge and was in business for over 40 years. Carol was also employed at Kmart, Tom Thumb and Trinity Regional Medical Center.
Carol enjoyed bingo, making jewelry, going to casinos and cooking delicious food for her loved ones. Above all she loved her family. Fiercely. She was the best Wife, Mom and Grandma that anyone could dream of and she will be so very missed.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.

"I first met Carol when I was in high school with Alan and Jacki. I really got to know her when I worked with her in OB. She might be one of the most non judgemental people I have met. I was raising teenagers at the time and she kept me sane. She would come into the nursery and her and I would rock babies and just visit. She was just what I needed at that time and I will never forget some of the advice she gave me. Love to her family ?"
