"To Sandy, her family, and Roger's family: Y'all all know how much I loved Roger. Before I moved home to Savannah, I spent many happy weekends with Roger and Sandy. We a lot of times would do nothing more than spend time playing cards or reading our Kindles, or just talking. I can still see Roger sitting at the kitchen table doing a Sudoku puzzle or reading his Kindle. I hate that I didn't get to see as much of them over the last 3 years and that I didn't get to spend time with him before he got ill. I know that he is in a better place, but he was my friend and I will miss him. "
